Greetings loyal members of COBRA!

It pleases me to announce that #CobraFanClub’s 11th contest has begun! The theme, as voted upon by our members is: “Year of the Snake”

For the first time, I am leaving the interpretation of this theme fairly open. This year, according to the Chinese zodiac calendar, is the year of the snake. I'm not superstitious, but things have been going very well for COBRA so far this year. As long as your entry follows the rules, has something to do with the "year of the snake" as a theme, and features COBRA, it will be accepted.

You may submit your entries to the contest folder starting now, and I will accept entries until June 2nd. The contest theme, rules, and prizes are described below. I wish you all the best of luck and thank you for your participation! All hail COBRA!!!

Entries may be submitted to the contest folder, starting now. The contest will close to entries on June 2.

RULES:
1. Any form of art is allowed. (Digital, traditional, photography, literature, etc.) You must create the work(s) yourself. Should you submit a photo-manipulation, all photos must be taken by you. Screencaps (manipulated or otherwise) from any film media (live action or animated) will not be accepted.
2. The entry submitted must follow the contest theme.
3. The entry must be new and created for this contest.
4. Entries are to be submitted to the "Contest" gallery folder.
5. Multiple entries (up to 3) per artist are allowed.
6. All contestants must vote for up to three entrants. A 5-point penalty will be given to contestants who do not vote.
7. The contest deadline is June 2nd.

Choosing the Winners:
The entries will be voted on by members of #CobraFanClub and contest entrants exclusively. Contestants may not vote on their own entries. ALL contestants must vote for up to three entrants. All decisions are final. If two entries tie for a winning position, the final winner for that position will be determined by *TheCobraCommander. All winning pieces will be included in the "Featured" folder as well as the "Contest Winners" folder. All winners will also be put into their appropriate gallery folder(s). The entries that did not place will be put into their appropriate gallery folder (COBRA, Ninjas, etc) as well. A separate blog entry for voting will be posted after the contest deadline has passed.
